Terms of Service
Effective 29.09.2026
Accepting These Terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy and Imprint, form the agreement between Florian Haase ("we", "us", or "our") and you regarding HookBert (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm that you may bind that business.
Service
Hookbert lets builders submit a product URL and hook. Publishing a hook to the shuffled public feed is free. Each account can publish up to 10 hooks. Each live product gets a public page containing a dofollow link, and we count outbound clicks. Side-rail advertising is described below. We may change or discontinue free features. A paid slot still runs for its remaining time unless we end it early under the rule below. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The contract is concluded in English.
Accounts and Security
You are responsible for your account and activity under it. Keep access credentials secure, provide accurate information, and do not access another user's account or data. You may schedule account deletion through your profile. Data is removed according to our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements and backup cycles.
Allowed Products
Hookbert is for genuine software, digital products, and similar builder launches.
You may list live or soon-to-launch products, tools, apps, websites, or services with a working URL. Hooks must honestly describe the destination.
You may not submit:
- Spam, fake, placeholder, scraped, or copied listings
- Illegal goods or services, including controlled substances, weapons, ammunition, or explosives, and products that violate export controls or trade sanctions
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, cannabis, and other drug-related products or services, including where they are legal
- Counterfeit, stolen, or intellectual-property-infringing goods, including pirated software, media, or knockoff merchandise
- Adult content and services, including pornography, escort services, sexually explicit offerings, and other sexually suggestive or NSFW products
- Unlicensed medical, pharmaceutical, or pharmacy products, and offerings that claim to diagnose, treat, or cure a disease
- Products or hooks that impersonate another product, business, or person, or that use someone's name or likeness without permission
- Gambling, betting, casino, or other games-of-chance products that are not properly licensed where they are offered
- Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid, Ponzi, crypto-pump, get-rich-quick, or other deceptive income-opportunity schemes
- Malware, spyware, phishing, hacking tools, exploit kits, or services designed to circumvent security measures, DRM, or platform terms
- Unlicensed financial products or services, including unregistered securities or crypto-asset offerings, and unlicensed lending or payday-loan products
- Scams, fraudulent products, and services that generate fake engagement such as bot followers, fake reviews, or fake traffic
- Hate, harassment, violence, discriminatory content, or content that exploits or endangers minors
- Cloaked, misleading, or unrelated destinations
- Products created only to harvest backlinks without a genuine offering
- Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other third-party rights
We may reject, hide, or later remove a live listing that violates these rules or is not a genuine product listing. When we do, we email you the reason. A person makes that decision. A rejected hook stays off the feed and off advertising slots until we restore it. We are not required to continue a discussion about that decision. You may edit a rejected hook; publishing it again requires a restore.
Advertising Slots
You can buy one position on the left or right rail for 30 days. The 30 days start when payment succeeds. The price is the one-time price shown on the pricing section before checkout. Taxes are shown before you pay.
Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Rotermanni 14, 10111 Tallinn, Estonia) is the merchant of record. Billing, invoicing, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks are a purchase contract between you and Creem. These Terms govern the placement we provide after payment succeeds. Invoices come from Creem.
We display a live hook that you assign to the slot, with a link to that product. You may switch which of your live hooks is shown during the 30 days. If no live hook is assigned, the position stays empty and the 30 days continue. Time is not paused because the slot is empty, a hook is rejected, or the Service is briefly unavailable.
A refund or successful chargeback processed by Creem ends the slot. If we end a placement before the 30 days are over, we will ask Creem to refund the unused part of the price. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the advertising-slot purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day that purchase contract is concluded. Closing a free account is described under Accounts and Security and is separate from this withdrawal right.
The purchase is concluded with Creem. Withdraw toward Creem, using the withdrawal function on Creem's interface where Creem provides one (§ 356a BGB), or by a clear statement to Armitage Labs OÜ (Creem.io), Rotermanni 14, 10111 Tallinn, Estonia, support@creem.io. Sending the statement before the period ends is enough.
Creem reimburses the payments it received, using the same means of payment, within 14 days after it learns of the withdrawal. You will not be charged a fee for that reimbursement.
If you asked for the placement to begin during the withdrawal period and you withdraw, you may owe proportionate compensation for the days already provided, where the law allows it (§ 357a BGB).
For a service that has been fully performed, the withdrawal right ends only if performance began after you expressly agreed that it starts before the end of the withdrawal period and you acknowledged that you lose the right once performance is complete (§ 356 Abs. 5 BGB).

Your Content and License
You retain ownership of content you submit and confirm that you have the rights needed to provide it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, and publicly display your submitted hook and URL to operate and promote the Service, including in the feed, on public product pages, and in the sitemap. Public product pages include a dofollow link to your URL. We store click counts for listings.
Acceptable Use
You must not use the Service unlawfully; interfere with its security or operation; evade authentication, rate limits, or abuse controls; overload it with automated requests; submit false or misleading information; or use it to violate third-party rights.
We may warn you, restrict a listing, suspend access, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary for illegal content, security risks, fraud, abuse, or material breaches. We will tell you the reason. Where practicable, we will give you an opportunity to respond.
Intellectual Property
We claim no ownership over your product information. The Service, its software, design, branding, and other materials remain owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except where mandatory law permits it.
Communications
We may send operational emails such as sign-in codes, listing decisions, security notices, and material service or Terms updates. Marketing messages are sent only where legally permitted.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, guarantees, and mandatory statutory liability. For negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this agreement. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Business users will indemnify us against third-party claims caused by content they submit or unlawful use for which they are responsible, including reasonable statutory legal costs.
Governing Law and Termination
German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply to consumers; for business users, our registered office is the exclusive venue where legally permitted.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may terminate use with 14 days' notice or immediately for an important reason such as illegal content, fraud, a security risk, or a material uncured breach.
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes and request acceptance where required by law. If a provision is invalid, the remaining Terms continue to apply.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
